United States Waives Immigrant Visa Processing in 70 Plus Countries

The United States of America Has Waived Immigrant Visa Processing in 70 plus countries. So, Who qualifies for an interview waiver for U.S. immigrant visas?

Most applicants under 14 years old and over 79 years old may qualify for exemption from the in-person Interview and may not need a personal appearance at the U.S. Embassy when applying for a visa or renewing their visa.

Before this big news came up, Jobdolar did some surveys on the opening date over DR Congo Embassy and found out that there’s a lot of corruption in the schedule for interviews for U.S.A visas.

Long waiting for immigrant visa interviews is a real pain for most immigrants seeking American visas. The processing time is very long and it’s a torture.

USA Visa Waiver Program

The U.S.A. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables CITIZENS of participating countries* to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. Travelers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel and meet all requirements. If you prefer to have a visa in your passport, you may still apply for a visitor (B) visa.

You must be a citizen or national of the following countries* to be eligible to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program.

To be eligible to travel under the VWP, British citizens must have the unrestricted right of permanent abode in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.

When applying for a greencard from outside the United States, you must travel to the nearest consulate for an interview before your visa is approved. But what happens when there is no U.S. Visa processing in your home country, and in some cases there is no consulates too?

Poland will not let Russians in even with Schengen visas. It is crazy to designate US Embassy in Warsaw for Russians? Why not use US Embassy in Istanbul. That is about the only safe place Russians can fly. I have been trying for months since Covid came into the picture.

Another 28 countries has consulates, but it only processes nonimmigrant visas. The report suggests that the U.S. offer virtual interviews and allow immigrant visa applicants to interview at embassies and consulates that only process nonimmigrant visas.
